I am looking at the biketronics and arc audio speakers and amp. I have talked to Mike (BT) and Wayne (ARC). Both recommended first I just go with the front mounted 6.5 speakers and amp. If the extra speakers are worth the trouble I would like to add them at the same time.

I would like to hear from people that have went from upgraded front fairing speakers w/amp, and later added lower fairing speakers. Just trying to found out the sound quality of lower fairing mounted speakers at highway speeds and around town riding.

Anyone that has lower fairing speakers please leave your comments.

 

I don't have the lower speakers installed, but let me say this. With the Arc amp, and the 6.5s in the front, the sound blasting at you is just fine. I also have Arc 5.25s in the rear pods, and have excellent sound around me (when tourpak is on of course).

I know you wanted a review of the lowers...but believe me, you'll get plenty of good sound coming off the fairing speakers after swapping them out. Save the cash and use it for a decent aftermarket radio, or something else. I'd recommend trying the front fairing speakers first, and then decide whether you really want to blow money on the lower speakers.
