Default Need a little more reach with the handlebars

Anyone know what kind of bars you can add easily to extend the bars on a '08 RG?? Looking for something simple without having to put new cables on, I have heard about heritage bars but haven't seen any on one... would even step up to thicker bars if I can find aftermarket types. THANKS.

I've got Heritage bars on my RG and it helps some but that's about as far as you can go without new cables.

I put the Wide Glide bars on my 06 RG. It helped but they didn't come back as far as I wanted. On my 09 RG i put the Krome Works +2 sweepers on and I love them. You can use your stock cables.

Heritage bars are going to be about all you can put on with stock cable lenths. Swapping the cabbles isnt that big of a deal and is the only way to get big time pull back

I thought that I needed some more pull back too. Until I spoke with the wrench at the local dealer-Barger, CA. He explained why I was getting a pinch in my back and instead of selling me on a new pair of bars, cables and installation, he suggested that I simply adjust my rider backrest. He saved me a lot of time and $. Make sure you need what you think you need before you buy.

Here's a good thread on replacing RG handlebars.
