Default HD High Vis Rain Suit vs Overpass II

I can't decide between the two. I like the looks of the Overpass II and I think it is a heavy material but I don't think it is as packable as the High Vis suit, plus how many of you use the suspenders that come with the High Vis suit?

I like the Overpass II.. The way it rains in FL is a good choice although the Canal Street Rain Suit is not bad either for 50.00 less than the Overpass and far lighter in weight and can almost pack it in your pocket..

Pick the one you like, some decisions you have to make for yourself. I bought my rain suits from Jafrum, and have been very satisfied with it.

If it's raining enough to need a suit, I would prefer to been seen by other motorists instead of blending into the rain/fog... Never understood why you would want a black/gray rain suit. That hi-vis is viewable from a long way off.

I almost bought the overpass suit myself but ended up going with the High Vis. I decided that being seen in low visibility situations during bad weather is a good thing. Plus I have been caught several times in a hard rain and came out bone dry.

My thoughts - the Overpass II would be my first choice. Especially "IF" I lived in a wet area, rode rain or shine, and didn't mind taking up space while packed.
However - I put a lot of miles on my bike, 1/4 of it 2 - up. Space is always an issue while traveling, since I have to pack two of everything. For me the packability is paramount. So I have HD's Packable for both the wife and I, and am very happy with the performance - in the rain and packed!
I will always try my best to avoid rain!

I use the overpass. One of the reasons I liked it was the amount of reflective material it has, more in fact than any other suit I looked at. It got very high marks form every independent review I could find in all areas but price!!

I have the High-Vis suit and really like it for the visibility and packability. Actually had a cager tell me that they liked being able to 'see' me during a storm squall over the weekend, while on my 2009 Fall Colors ride.

As mentioned by others, choose the suit that most closely meets your needs!

Got the Hi Vis also. Don't know why they make gray suits. We are hard enough to see as it is.
