Default Fathers Day Gift

My wife surprised me by ordering a Sears Craftsman yellow alluminum motorcycle/ATV lift. It's due to arrive at the store this week. I appreciate her thoughtfulness but I remember reading some negative reviews on their lifts from current owners. Before I pick it up I want to be sure it'll work okay for my '06 Ultra so any suggestions or opinions on this particular lift would be appreciated.

This yellow Sears aluminum jack is ABSOLUTELY CUSTOM FIT for the 05 Ultra (not sure about 06's).

One leg fits right in the "channel" so you can't go wrong; perfectly balanced. Use the single level setup.

I had mine jacked up yesterday about 8" to clean the tires. NICE and QUICK.

Some of those "bad" reviews on the forum might be on other scoots - I have no regrets whatsoever.

Best $130 I ever spent!!!

Your wife is a smart lady!!!!!

Very good small, lightweight lift. Just find you balance point and line it up on the frame. Lift away. Don't forget to set the support lock.

Love mine and don't recall any negative posts. The low profile easily slides under my Ultra while on the jiffy stand.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I'm sure I'll be pretty leary of lifting the Ultra the first couple of times. Looking forward to picking it up on Wednesday.

Practice, and get used to releasing the handle SLOWLY to let the bike down...had a scare and the bike came crashing down on the first time. OH and don't make the same mistake I did either of putting the straps on the bars and then jacking the bike up...not unless you want custom bent bars!! []
