I think my brain is crosswired when it comes to those 2 buttons. I can relate to both situations

When on the interstate, I will usually try to say something on the CB just to let the driver know I'm coming around. Sometimes it works.

Road Ranger, glad you and the Mrs. are ok.

Most truck drivers we encounter on the road are very driver friendly around motorcycles.
I have only had one bad situation with a log truck. My wife and I riding 2 up are stopped at a red light in the right lane of a 4 lane highway. Log truck rolling about a quarter mile behind us in the left lane. No one else on the road. Light turns green and the we take off still in the right lane. The truck keeps rolling thru the green light picking up speed. We are at 55 mph when his tractor gets right past us and he starts comming over into the right lane hard. I know he saw us there because there was no one else around. I take the shoulder, down shift to third and roll the throttle hard. We blow by him doing 80 and both of us give him the one finger salute. She hollers in my ear, "thanks for saving my life."
