I bought mine through Chicago HD - 20% off, no taxes - just shipping - it was worth it. Bought the Kyrakyn Grand Tour pack and seat - only $21 to ship to south central MI.

i cant say for your bike but the sundowner is pretty much the same for all bikes. I bought one for my 07 dyna and its like night and day compared to the OEM seat. No question about it the OEM is like sitting on a pcs of plywood compared to the sundowner after 500miles.

As for trying one good luck there best bet is to find a local buddy that has one and borrow it for a day thats is what i let a buddy of mine do with mine for him and his wife.

Now its all in your dealer. My dealer didn't let me test ride it but did let me take it out of the box put it on a bike in the show room floor and sit on it to see what i thought and i bought it.

Decent to one is painful to another. I have logged 51,000 miles on my stock Ultra seat in 18 months and love it. Thought I would try a Sundowner with a gel insert and pulled it after 400 miles. Liked the stock way better. The Sundowner is collecting dust in the garage. Guess I should get it and put it on the for sale forum.....

Without test rides with new seat alternatives, it forces us to look for new or slightly used seats on E-Bay, Craig's List and the classifieds. That way if the seat doesn't work we can re-sell and not take the initial hit and keep looking.
