Picked up new 2009 FLHR Road King - Help?

I also bought an 09 as a step up from an 05. I moved the bars closer and up on the old bike with a HD Street Slammer cover and nicely curved dyna risers. With the new one I bit the bullet and fitted 12 inch Apes from Burleigh Bars Australia. Love the height, but more importantly, my hands are further apart and thats creates less stress and less pain.

+1 on these bars. I believe this is the part number that will work for you because of the TBW. It is the one I put on my King for $80. I followed the service manual and had them on in 2 hours. I could be wrong but I don't believe you can use the stock bars for the Heritage because the right side has to be made for the TBW.
I would like a different seat also but I need one that is comfortable for the passenger as well.

The H.D. website says that this handlebar doesn't work for abs equipped bikes or bikes with heated grips, both of which are on my bike. That means it doesn't work for my 09 RK standard. Any ideas? I really want those bars.

Yes, what les63 said. Heritage Style bars. (Not Heritage bars) Part #56902-08. Only about $80. They're higher with about 3" of pull back. They are great!!
Next, jerk that stock sh&%ty seat off and put on a Mustang Vintage Solo seat for $300. I looked at a number of options and those bars and that seat makes it a whole different ride. Those two add-ons will literally save your back and your bum - seriously.
Check 'em out.
