Default Mustang seat on RK - higher or lower?

Anyone out there put a mustang seat (2 piece) on an '09 Road King...... wondering if it puts you higher or lower in the seat compared to stock seat?
Thanks

Don't have an 09, but I put one on my 08 and I'd say it's about the same. They claim it lowers you a bit, but I don't feel it. The difference is when your riding, it has more of a cupped feel; like your in the seat not on it. Don't forget to order the backrest, it's worth every penny and is far superior in design to the HD style. Less cumbersome and removes/installs in a flash.

I don't know if it'll help you (since there were no replies), but I put the Mustang seat on my 2006 RKC and I felt it raised me up between 1/2 and 1 inch. With barely a 29 inch inseam (6 foot torso), I lived with it because it was so comfortable.

I too have a 2006 RKC. When I first got it I tried a Mustang seat and yes I felt a bit taller in the saddle. Personally, I found the Mustang seat comfortable, but it was a bit hard for my wife. We ended up changing it out for a Harley Ultra seat....HD makes an Ultra seat that will fit the RKC....We both find it very comfortable. It also raises you up slightly. I have a 30" inseam and can just put my feet flat to the ground

Love my Mustang. Not much change. Felt a little higher, but I think that it was more from my original seat having flattened out over 8 years.

It's also easy on the width. Not narrow, but not wide either. The one piece is an inch wider, it hurt my inner thighs, and doesn't look as kool as the two piece.

And get the backrest. Wow!!

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo Comfy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks............ figured that it would be comfy - but I definitely dont want to sit any higher on this bike that IMO already sits quite high (say compared to the Streetglide).

Just make sure your considering the age of your current seat.

Try CC Seats or Corbin, or even Mustangs lower seat.

I have the Mustang Solo with Backrest on my '09. (not in sig pic though)

I feel that the Mustang sits about the same height as the stock seat but it is narrower so my feet reach the ground better anyway. The Mustang definitely is higher than the HD Reach seat but it is more comfortable to me.
