How about you? The info I read is that there will still be a (anticipated) huge turnout. Nothing in the good old USA stops free citizens from visiting a California town, having some lunch, doing sightseeing, etc. Who wants to 'hook up'...I live a few miles off the 101 Fwy, in Thousand Oaks, and would be glad to be a tourist, with some of my bro's, and visit the Hollister area. Primo, what about the 'Thudering Herd'?

Private land has been rented and a lot of vendors are supposed to show up.

Looks like its on. Just without the huge police presence. Be sure to be on good behavior, as I'm sure the cops (nothing against LEO's just these guys seem to hate bikers) will be looking for any reason to ticket or detain you.

Hopefully I can go. I'm trying to rearrange my plans so that I can make it.

 

What a bunch of crap that Hollister was cancelled. I am sure there was a compromise over costs that could have been worked out. Damn politics!

 

They refused. The local police just didn't want it there. They wouldn't grant a permit to anyone for it.

Now they will be handed their asses, because the 15 or so locals can't handle the thousands of people that will show up.

Of course, if everyone is peaceful then it can be a good thing and help the event return.

 

Everybody I know is heading to hollister that weekend and I will be there also.

 

I am only about 220 miles away so, I will be there!!

I was told that they will be issueing tickets to anyone who has a Thunder Header,even if it's parked and not running.What a bunch of crap.They really don't want us there,but if you guys are really gonna go,I might consider it.
