Default Hand Grip Install

I just purchased a set of new Harley handgrips for my 09 Ultra. If I recall the part number is 56263-08... Anyway; can anybody that changed out grips on the 09 Ultra give me any pointers. I am very handy, but I just want to make sure I take any precautions needed. I am not sure if the electronic throttle is a major concern in changing these grips, or that I don't take out a screw/bolt I shouldn't…

The hardest problem I had was getting the stock grips off without cutting them (wanted to save them if to re-install if I ever sell my bike). Install was a piece of cake.

The HD grips come with straight forward instructions. One tip, don't push the throttle grip up tight against the throttle grip sensor, leave a very slight end gap. This will prevent the grip from binding. And the left grip on the 08's are glue-less come off fairly easy. Not sure about the 09's thou.

Well I got the grips on. The left grip I had to cut off, it was glued, but the new grip slid right over the top. The throttle grip was easy. Everything seems to be working as it should. I was supprised that neither one of the clutch or break electronic clusters are put in place by some type of locator pin.. They are just held in place by snugging up the bolds..?
