Well ... I have an 07 Train and it's holding up just fine. Put a TTS Mastertune to control the heat issue and make it run right and added an oil cooler to back that up in hot weather which we get a lot of in the desert.

My riding season is just starting though. We are good to go until next July.

I am at 18,000 miles on my Ultra. No major probs. Two things that were fixed under warranty (broken fuel door lock, leaky front master cylinder). I think I will keep mine til its paid for, maybe longer. I smell a 103 ci build in my future.

I don't have any handling complaints. It does have some swingarm flex under high speed cornering, but it is an 850 lb bike. It has a small amount of 5th gear whine, less now than new, much better after Redline Shockproof heavy. Remember guys, they are not sport bikes.

I don't have any heat complaints. I have the Stage 1 download and a Fullsac true dual kit. Is it hot, yep, but it is an air cooled bike. The highest oil temp I have seen was 255 degrees in 6 miles of stop and go traffic due to an accident back-up with air temps about 80 degrees. I am not worried about that.

I have to say it has exceeded my expectations and I have no regrets about spending that much on a bike!

I've got about 9500 miles on my Road Glide, no issues. No transmission complaints and no crank complaints. Knock on wood.

I love my '07 Streetglide. I had a 103 kit and pipes, air cleaner and SERT installed before I rode it home. Fortunately I read this forum and have found out it's noisy and needs some IDS piece of crap, and that it wobbles in turns and needs a brace, and that I really should trade it in for an '09 or later bike with the "improved electronic throttle" to replace the cables that may break at some distant future date. Well I guess I'm not as observant as the guys "in the know" who post here. My old bike runs like a banshee, the tranny doesn't howl, rattle, or whine, the *** end follows the front, no wobble, and I have never broken my throttle cable. Come to think of it I never broke one in my life and I'm past 60 and have been riding at lot since I got my scooter permit at 14. Oh well thanks to the guys on the forum who tell me how bad this bike is, cause I would have never known it otherwise.

Default 07 Ultra

I am approaching 49K on my Ultra.
My neck bearings went bad. The horn craps out in heavy rain. It will not stay clean.
I put a H-D oil cooler on it and a stage one from FuelMoto. Mean city re-stuffed my seat. All 3 mods I recommend.
I was changing all 3 fluids at 5k. I now do oil at 5k and the other 2 at the 10k. The fluids looked new at 5k, and look pretty good still at 10k. Dunlop E3s have been very good to me.

My only real complaints:
Poor fuel economy, 35 mpg or so.
I wish I would have went one size smaller on the baffles. Live and learn.

Overall it has been a great bike and made me very happy. I plan to go 3 more years on this one and replace her at about 100,000 miles.
If they have a Road Glide Ultra in 2013, I will give it a try.

I've got about 25 000 miles on my Road Glide. It have Rinehart True Duals, Screamin Eagle air filter, other cams, ECM upgrade. 42 mpg. I change the motor oil every 5000 miles and tranny - primary every 10 000 mile. Only one little thing have happened to this bike. I had to change the ignition/steering lock. A small plastic piece inside broke.

The bike runs and handles great. No vibrations, no wining and a lot of power. On the rims I have Metzeler ME 880 Marathon. I have to say that those tires did a lot for the handling of the bike, way better than the Dunlops. I'm also very careful with the airpressure, both in the tires as in the rear shocks.

It's a great bike....

Just did the 30,000 service on my Road Glide. Supertrapp 2 into 1, Oil cooler, K & N air cleaner, good touring seat & backrest, Wide Glide bars, radio replaced with home spun GPS mount. My horn chokes in heavy rain, & Harley replaced the ECM under warranty. Other than that it's fine. Gettin' ready to put a little more than a 1000 miles on it this weekend.

I just turned 38k miles on my EG Classic. runs good. Stage 1, SE slipons, I added cruise, J&M CB, Mustang seat, Ticks and whines and roars but i try not to listen to that...Ride the Hell out of it as often as i can...Going to KY this Weekend for a 2 day trip. It's under warranty for another 2 years so that is how long i will keep it and i also will think of a Road Glide or an Ultra. Had the rear cylinder cutoff installed with the stage 1 ...Only problem i had is Oxygen sensor and saddle bag lock. Both done under warranty.
