Older Cadallic Horn.....
Good day, guys.
A while ago there was a thread posted in a discussion about horn replacements that mentioned that an older cadallic car horn could be used as a direct replacement for the existing HD horn.
Since I'm unable to purchase the 'mini beast'; I was hoping that somebody could either send me the year of the cadallic car mentioned in the thread or the link to the actual response.
Thanks for the help.

Is this the thread you were thinking of?

Just look at the wire connection and mounting of your horn and head to a salvage yard and pick one up. (including the bracket which does affect the sound). Take a 12V battery and some wire with you so you can try them.

i put a pair of 70's cadillac horns in my motorhome. they were the loudest horns cadillac used for many years. they were loud, but very ugly. and you'd need two of them to achieve what you can get from the stebel horn, also sold at harbor freight believe it or not. made by stebel, and they are packaged in wolo bubble pack. look for "made in italy" and you'll find it. the stebels, or mini beast are a two tone in one unit. very loud indeed. google stebel and you can view their models.
