Thumbs up Newbie here

Greetings All ! I deal with Mills HD in burlington nj. This is the second bike I bought from them. My 09 SG was 1000.00 under list, 20% off dealer options, No freight or set up if I took the extended warranty and the 1000 mi service was no labor charge I just paid for fluids. I have 2 other dealers approx 10 mi from my house and I travel 35 mi to mills.

Hey...my local dealership gives out free donuts on weekends...! LOL.

Honestly, though, I've never had a problem with either of the two I use (Simi Valley and Ventura H-D here in SoCal). However, I do buy most of my H-D parts online (Surdyke.com) because of the price breaks.

Sorry to hear about your experience with your dealer. Makes me think I am lucky to have the dealer we do in Janesville and the local HOG chapter.
Shop around. It can't hurt.

Second if you can't afford the sport take up pingpong but dont b%tch at the dealer for being a money making enterprise.

Third if you don't like the establishment vote with your feet and find another dealer.

No matter what there are guys on this board that could get their bike for free and still be pissed at the world.
OK, here is what I am talking about, Is wearing the presious HD logo so important that you would respond so carelessly?

I have no problem spending the money for a quality product that offers quality service for what is paid. Is that so hard to understand?

If you pay $10 bucks for microbrewed beer do you not expect it to damn well taste good? Or will you pay for the trendy $10 brew to look cool holding it in front of whoever can see you even though it tastes like crap?

Your comments have validated exactly what I was saying in my original post.

I would disagree with that. I have owned several models of all of those brands and find none of them except Suzuki to be inferior.

And remember, Harley copied Indian.......

Yup, that would about torque my nutz. 5 bills a piece for rubber??? Your right some of the dealers seem think that people should just shut up & pay up. Unfortunatly there are enough rubes & RUBS to stupid to call em on it. Rewind back to the 80's & before the botiques the s*** didn't fly with anyone.
