Exclamation Seats for 2009 Road King Classic

Hi there!

I'd like to have a great pullback position with seat confort and good position. So I'm buying a Chrome High Handlebar (56180-08). But I'm in serious doubt concerning wich seat for my 2009 FLHRC: 1) Reach Seat - 08 Later Touring (52619-08); (2) Reach Seat - (52609-05) This one apparently does not fit my 2009 model, but is it true? It's better than the 52619-08! (3) Hammock Touring Seat (53051-09) Does it really works? Is it more confortable than the "others" in my question?; (4) Confort Stitch for Road King (51157-04A) This apparently does not fit my 2009 model, but is it trye? This is the most confortable in my opinion!; (5) Sundowner Deep Bucket Seat - Road King Classic (51615-09) Apparently this is not so confortable like the "Confort Stitch" or "Reach Seat", but is more confortable than the stock one and fits my bike!

Any help is greatly welcome!

Thank you!

Cristiano

You may want to check out the Heritage style handlebar 56902-08, it comes back an inch farther than the one you're looking at. I found it very comfortable. I also went with the Sundowner seat 51615-09 which is also comfortable (I have a 30" inseam). I've been on 3 road trips in the last 7 weeks and have no complaints.

Thank you 2deuce!

Are you shure about the measures? I had checked Heritage Style but looking at the Harley website on the handlebar measure chart I found that it have 5" pullback and 12"rise outside and the Chrome High have 9" pullback and 9.50" rise outside.

I don't know which is my inseam but I am 1,80m tall!

It is confusing. If you rotate the bars back when mounting, the taller rise will put the grips closer to you. The Heritage is a little wider. The Heritage style uses stock cables and the Chrome High with more pull back needs longer cables. Just go to the dealer and hold up both bars to the bike to see which one is going to be the best for you. Your inseam is the length of your jeans. Due to age, I'm shrinking from being 5'8" at one time!

I have an 07 RKC, and ended putting RK custom bars on. These pulled back about three more inches. Just LOVE 'em! FYI.... Mustang seat with backrest.

I put chubby 518 bars, a sundowner seat, and backrest on my 08 RKC and it's more comfortable than my living room couch. I always had upper back/shoulder pain until I did all this. Unfortunately I did all three at the same time so I don't know if just one of them would have done the job.

Thank you all guys!

About the seat, the limitation for the Comfort Stitch for RK is caused by the new 09 chassis?

I'm getting crazy! Every store that I quote say me diferent things about need new cables for the Heritage Style and for the Chrome High handlebars. One say that I'll need both for the brakes and the clutch, another say that I'll need only for the brakes, another say that I'll not need it...

You don't need new cables for the Heritage Style bars. I put them on with stock cables and even kept the stock grips. No kidding. That's what they look like.
