Thumbs up Prototype Rear Grill w/pic

Been working on this new style speaker grill. Wanted to put up a picture and get some feedback. Black out is hot and this is our version. The back plate is polished stainless with 3/32 holes pierced in it and the skull is painted black now or could be black chrome. We can also manufacture just a plain grill with holes in black or chrome. What do you think?

Have tried a couple designs; they are tough to keep attached and still have some strength so the webs don't break.

Nice contrast to what's been out there.

I am not a "skull" guy but it looks like quality workmanship.

It's nice looking, but there is too much material blocking the sound. It's a speaker, you can't cover it up.

...... how 'bout a 'flames up from the bottom' trim ring to fit a Road Glide speaker ?

You need to take the original cover apart so you can see that the black rubber and fabric blocks more sound than my design. I have done the volumetric calculations and this design is about 30% more open than the original equipment. I have duplicated both designs in my cad software and I know this design is better. Here is a couple of pictures 1 is the hd cover and 1 is my design. Which one do you see more of the white background ?
