Default Fouled front plug = Valve Seals?? need some help

My 05 was idling a bit rough the other day so I pulled the plugs. The front plug was fouled pretty bad, the rear plug clean and golden brown. It’s an 05, could this be the sign of valve seal trouble?? The plugs were both changed 3000 miles ago, and it has used about ½ a qt of oil in the same time period. Thanks for the help

I'd bet money on it. My 05 had the problem on the rear cylinder. I had valve guide seals installed on the rear cylinder only, several thousand miles ago. No more oil consumption or fouled plugs.
According to the MoCo the seals themselves were not the problem but the installation of the seals. That explains why only one cylinder can have the problem. They say some of the seals were "side loaded" during installation. Not sure what that means. Maybe some body else can explain that. Funny thing though, the replacement seal is different than the original.
