After alot of soul searching. I traded my 07 Black Cherry and Pewter Ultra on a 2010 Black and Silver Ultra Classic. My 07 had 16,000 on the clock. I'm keeping the new scoot stock. ( for a while anyhow )

The new bike feels GREAT! I really haven't noticed any heat issues but the weather has been unseasonably cool where I live. I did order an oil temp gauge, and chrome racks for the bags and tourpack.

I do miss the fifth gear whine. It reminded me of the old pan or the 75 flh, can't remember wich one had that same sound. Damm the Whiners that whined about the whine.

What was it that brought you to trade?

I've got an 07 EGC and I love the looks and new frame and such of the 09/10s, but I just really got the 07 just the way I want it with various mods. Starting that all over again makes me wince.. plus whatever hit I'd take on the trade.

 

I was going to do an engine upgrade on the 07 and keep it, but made the mistake of going to my dealer for state inspection. The rest is history. Sorry no pics of the new scoot. I'm on the road for a couple of weeks so it will have to wait.

Congrats on the New Bike i bet in a couple of weeks the mods will start i said the same thing on all my bikes ( stock) it just doesnt stay that way
