Another question about fitment. I am working on trying to get a 2010 RKC rideable and need a luggage rack for a trip next weekend.

Will the "Bullet Rear Turn Signal Bar and License Plate Kit" PN 53702-04A found on page 661 of the 2010 book fit on a 2010 RK? It says only through 2008 in the book.

My problem is that if that does not fit, I'm not sure what to do with the license plate with a luggage rack. Yes, I know there are aftermarkets, but I like the look of the other lights in the package. My guess is that it is just the fender tip that will not work. Can anyone confirm this?

I guess I really don't need the license plate, but someone else may care.

Are you mostly going after the plate relocation, the bullet turn signal bar or both??? I know the signal bar will work but they changed something in the plate mounting for the 09 Street Glide. Which is what that kit basically is for 08 and earlier. The part numbers for all of the plate mounting parts are completely different.

If you can wait about a week I will have the bullet turn signal bar kit 68615-04 for sale for a fair price. If you still wanna relocate your plate below the light bar there are many cheaper options out there. There are several threads on that subject.

 

I wanted to do the light bar change this Winter and now I have a need to change the plate mount so I can use one of the luggage racks.
