Default `09 Electra Glide Exhaust Recomendations

Hey all,I just traded my Softail for an Electra Glide.I absolutey love this bike already, but it`s too quiet.
I was looking at the Vance and Hines front pipe, but don`t know what to choose for mufflers.Or should I just keep the front pipe and replace the mufflers?
I also plan on doing the HD heavy breather, and a tune of some sorts, but I`d like to start collecting parts, and want to do it right the first time.

Thanks in advance!
Mark.

I have the V/H true duals with Monster Ovals, SE A/C with K&N filter and the V/H Fuel Pack and my bike performs & sounds great to me. Ovals give it a nice deep rumble.

Why change the head pipe? The stock ones perform quite well. And on the 09s, the true duals don't really LOOK that much different, nor remove any more heat.

If I can leave the headpipe,I`d rather do so.It looks fine to me.
Just tryin to see what people are using.

Thanks.

You can use the stock header with slip-ons.

Here are my V&H MONSTER ovals. (not too loud, but very deep) Listen with GOOD speakers.

The 09's are endowed with a decent head pipe if your staying stage 1. Get ya some slip ons, air intake and tuner! For me I am very happy with Bub 7's, SEAC & PC_V !

I've got one with the SE/AC, Jackpots and PCV and another one with the SE/AC, Rineharts and PCV. Love them both, left the stock head pipes on both. Jackpots are a bit quieter, both are low and throaty and bark a bit when accellerating. Got both in power packs from Fuel Moto. $700 for first, $950 for second.
