I located 2 posible 09 Street Glides I,d like .
I wanted red or Black .
Only able to find black so heres the deal .
Comes down to this ,,,
1. 2009 HD STREET GLIDE used with cruise only 2800 miles on it , could use a good cleaning .
For being a 2 1/2 month old bike its been ridden pretty good .
$17,820....OTD....not a dealer sale .. Local no traveling .

2. 2009 Street Glide ,black , brand new with cruise only .
Best deal is $19,920. OTD. with everything included ,abought 6 hrs away and is a dealer.

3. 2009 STREET GLIDE Black with cruise and security .
Best deal $20,062. out the door tax and all included . also abought 6 hrs away in a different direction . also a dealer .

Not a hole lot of diffeence in price on the 2 new bikes , just different dealers .
So sound high or good or ???
Abought $2000 less for the used but is it worth the worry on the break in etc.
Bike looks ok but dirty and used not pampered .
Sorry I,m very fussy with my toys....
What would you do ??

If you had a chance to throw in a last minute add on on 1 of the new bikes ( nother to drastic in price ) what would you ask for ??
IE , hand grips , pegs, sissy bar , oil and filter ?? manual???

 

I have never bought a used bike. But if it was a VERY clean well taken care of then I wouldn't have a problem with it. So if you are fussy with your toys then I would go for number 3....

 

get #1 for about $1500 you can get a 5 year extended warranty $500 left over gets ya alot of soap and wax, and thats the last time I'm answering your which one threads, your a big boy now.

 

Is there warranty on the used bike? And how long do you keep your bikes? If I was going to flip that used bike before the warranty was up that might the one for me.

 

I think you answered your own question about the used one. If you are "fussy about your toys"? You'd better pass on the used one.

After reading posts of some of the guys buying a 2009 STREET GLIDE FOR $18000 or so OTD .
jUST NOT SURE WHERE THEY LOOKED BUT I,m not finding them ..
I did say I,m in Northern New York ( N, NY ).....
Getting a few offer way out in the west and South but I,m a must see buyer ...

The Harley warranty is good for 2 years from the original sale date. It gets passed on the next owner. I bought a 2008 Fat Bob last year that was about 10 months old and my dealer had no problem fixing any warranty issues. It's all recorded/tracked in their database via the VIN.
