Default Swap SE A/C with Big Sucker?

I have a SE stage 1 cleaner on my SG now along with the 103 kit. I have acquired a big sucker that came with another part I bought. I really don’t see the difference in drawing more air between the two. The only difference I really see is the chrome backing plate with the big sucker. I had the big sucker on my fatboy and liked it, but I am wondering if I should swap out my SE or just leave it. I am also sure I would not need to remap my bike. What do you guys think?

If you want to draw more air, consider Zipper's A/C upgrade filter kit. This filter has over 60% more surface area than the SE filter.

Yeah but I am looking to keep one of these two I already have. Just thinking if it's worth taking off my SE and putting on my big sucker

Keep the one that looks better, that's all you'll gain anyways.

Thats pretty much what I was thinking. The big sucker does have the chrome plate and the cover I have pretty much covers everything but the bolt holes

The chrome backing plate's cool if you're running a cover that only covers the top, not sides of the filter. My sucker is the plain grey.

I've got the same setup on my 08 FLHX. I'm running the 255 cam though. Strong running bike. Looking to upgrade to the hc pistons and flowed heads.

Put the chrome one on, and it's quite possible the big sucker has a better filter than the SE stuff.

The extra weight of the chrome plating may slow you down
