Need Help! - Highway Pegs - Ultra Classic
My new Ultra Classic should be arriving late this week or early next week. It has finally been produced and shipped. (long wait)
My buddy got his over the weekend and we tried to mount our favorite Kuryakn ISO highway pegs, mounts and stirrups. They simply won't work with the lower fairing in terms of location and comfort.
What are the rest of you using?
My dealer is recommending that I use the HD Short Angled Adjustable Highway Peg Mounts and HD Pegs of my choice.
Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated

Congrats on the new bike. I am 5'10 with 31 inseam and I have the HD long angle peg mounts and they go around the lowers just great and still allow me to stretch out just fine.. I use regular HD pegs and I have not had a problem. Its a hit and miss thing, you just have to see what works for you.

I just picked up a pair of the K 7999 offset mounts and ISO pegs...

They were on the discount table at the dealer (80.00). They said that another guy tried to get them on his Ultra and they would not work. I bought them, flipped them around so the bolt faced outward toward the front and voila. I don't have a pic yet, but the way I have them placed, I can have my heel on the footboard and about half of my foot on the peg, or my hole foot on the peg, or my heel way up on the peg, or fully streched out with the back of my ankle on the peg. Seems quite comfy, and the price is right.

You did not like the long angled mounts? Why are you getting rid of them if I may ask? I have been thinking about getting a set for my EGS...
