Default GPS Nav / Tunes on bike via Palm Pre

Just got the palm pre - and love it. The device sync's with ITunes, so I have all my songs. I use the sprint Nav application. Which is pretty cool. Plug it into the the Aux on the radio. Works cool. The music fades when the nav is giving direction over the speakers.

Now I'm wondering if I should mount for the video on the gps. I'm happy with just the audio.

I am thinking about doing the same thing. I am just having a hard time stomaching so much for a GPS, when I can possibly get a phone with a 3.5mm jack and load it up with MP3 and use the navigation on the phone. Not as good as a real GPS in some cases, but think that is the route I am heading.
