Default TomTom Rider 2 or Garmin Zumo 550 ????

I've been shopping hard for a "motorcycle" gps. Any advice whether to go with the TomTom Rider 2 @ approximately $400, or Garmin's Zumo 550 @ about $200 more than the TomTom? From what I can tell, they come equiped about the same.

Garmin Zumo 550 or the new 660.

I've had mine for about 4 years. Very reliable and Garmin support is second to none.

I don't know anything about the tom-Tom. I bought the Zumo 550 because it included the XM radio. Don't use the GPS that much, but we always use the XM.
Cheaper than buying the HD GPS & XM modules.

About one month ago, I was in the same boat. While it would have been nice to save some coin, I was never impressed with the Tom Tom 2 (a friend has one) thus I had to chose between the Zumo 550 or 660. I went with the Road Tech Zumo 660 and to date, are happy. Can be had for a tick over $600.

Not sure about Tom-Tm. Went with the Zumo 550 and enjoy it. Guess it depends on how much you want to spend and how many options you would like to have.
Shop around - Good luck

I've had the Garmin Zumo 550 for about 1yr - LOVE IT!! Very reliable, bulletproof, and good customer service. I've had 2 other Garmin units for my cars....same story. I even load-up the memory card with music and play it thru my AXU input when I'm out of range of my everyday stations and don't feel like channel surfing.....never even use my CD player.
