They were made for a direct replacement. And the are ...................AWESOME !!!!!.........The manual is online as well.......................Don

Can't say about the model years...except the Ultra rears...The depth of the speaker pod on '05 is about 3/16" less than earlier models and Pez had to make a change to fit....he did and they are great! The wrenchs at my dealer were playing those Hogtune speakers and two of the techs are gonna buy 'em!

RE: Hogtunes Speakers
I got my HOGTUNES in the mail today...looks like they are made by our Canadian brothers to our north! The impedence on the speakers is 5.75 ohms, anyone know what the specs are on the standard speakers that come with the MoCo's radio?
I'm pumped to put it all together, but I don't have the radio yet, it's scheduled to arrive on Wednesday the 18th of May.

The stock HD speakers are 8 ohms. Many people were putting in 4 ohm speakers because 8 ohm in that size (5 1/4") are rare. Polk Audio were very popular, louder because of 1/2 the resistance that the radio called for. The people that make the radio for MoCo say you could blow the radio because of the low resistance the amp has to drive. HogTunes come in right in the middle at 5.75. I'm not sure what MoCo has to say about them. ALSO people that have the Polk's and such are also raving about the Hogtunes. They are made in China but distributed out of Ontario Canada (about 35 miles from me, as I found out when I ordered mine and picked them up instead of shipping them). There is a lot of info on their site.........I just read this morning they will be away until May 24th...................Don
