Yes, I think you can order a CVO with it already in it

Only CVO bikes come factory filled with Syn3.

Being that Syn3 isn't the best synthetic oil out there, I would change the oil when you take delivery of your new bike and fill all 3 holes with Amsoil. That's what I did! Amsoil is much better than Syn3 and doesn't cost as much as Syn3 either.

We carry Amsoil and use it in all the bikes we service for our local customers. It makes your bike run so much smoother and keeps the engine temp cooler and that is especially helpful when idling on a hot day at traffic lights. The other great thing about Amsoil is how well it protects your engine. Amsoil guarantees protection of your engine for 15,000 miles or 1 year, so you can extend your service intervals if need be or for those cross-country type trips.

Mobil One is another option. On all of my new bikes I drop the factory oil at 100 miles and replace with a good quality synthetic oil.

Knowing what I know now, if I was to purchase a new bike with Synthetic oil already in the engine, I would remove it and replace it with petroleum (before leaving the dealer) for the break-in period. Either the rings will fully seat, or not fully seat in less then 50 miles.

While having my 96" bumped up to a 103" (by Doc1 and he agrees with this information) I did some research on break-in. Here's a right-up (post 32) on what I found.

This article is what most major engine recommend for proper break-in.

Just drive the new bike with the factory oil and do the forum mentioned break-in procedure. When done, change to your favorite synthetic.

Good luck,
Theo.
