So I don't think the frame in this area (the seat area) is any wider on the 09's, in fact I knew they are not. I even got the same measurement side cover to side cover It's the same width! I image the 09's are taller though maybe that is the problem. Or maybe just the way the 09 seats are made... who knows.

If all three of my digital cameras were not broke I'd include a picture. Man I need to get to Bestbuy.

$60,000 in Harleys and no working camera???? Priorities, priorities

Well this whole topic just created two concerns for me, and neither is looking too good.

One, I was contemplating just getting a new batwing or sharknose bike instead of doling out the cash on my RKC. But, as Gremlin/Monster, I'm a little lacking in the inseam area and with the profile shocks and new seat on my 08, I'm sittin pretty. So the new frame would just **** me off.

And two, since I'm not seeing a growth spurt in my future and I hear we all settle/shrink with age, what are we to do when it's time for a new bike? I'll be damned if I'm riding a trike in my 40's. Looks like a set of Kiss platform boots will be in order as my first purchase with the next bike.

Bring on the detachable fairing! Guess I better baby my 08.........

Enjoy your new bike, G, maybe we can get leg implants on a 2 for 1 special

I just traded my '07 Ultra for a 2010 Ultra. I don't feel any difference except for the fact that the new bike handles and rides 1,000 times better. I have a bad left hip and the new bike is more comfortable to me. I think trying a different seat is the first thing to do.

I was thinkin the same thing, maybe the copper color was the reason for $5000.00 of MSRP

So did they repaint the bag or just order a factory new one?
