Weeelll the bike is heading to the shop
I have been watching the oil levels in my bike for a couple of months and after the last oil change I have made a note of how long its taking to burn a quart of oil so I can prove there is something wrong. When I last talked to the dealer about it they gave me the spill about using a qt every 2k miles. This is something I dont believe out of a newer bike, and a stock one at that. Well it took 1192 miles to burn it off so now Im calling the dealer tomorrow, luckly for me I have the extended warranty and a $50 deductible. Well I hope to not get the run around from them. Never had to have this kind of work done to any of my bikes in the past and never really had to deal with a dealer on a warranty issue before. Hope it all goes smooth.

Oh no. I bought this bike from killer creek. My first harley I bought from Fraziers but then the sales man moved over to Killer Creek by the time I wanted a touring model. He is a great guy and the reason I took my business to them. I really dont have a problem with Fraziers it just doesnt feel very welcoming. They did step up and fix a problem with my Heritage when the moco wouldnt. So I really can slam the service dept. With my extended warranty I must take it to killer creek anyway.
