Default Stretched Hard Bags

I was at a bike rally this weekend and saw a touring bike that had installed stretched hard bags along with a rear fender cover, and it just looked awesome. I've searched the internet and found the following aftermarket supplier: http://www.milwaukeebagger.com/Home.html.
I have an RG and am looking for something a little different, but don't want to impact handling or performance. Has anyone had any experience with this stuff, through this supplier or anyone similar? Thanks for your input!!!

I've seen those bags too and kinda liked 'em. I'm wondering how well the material will stand-up to the heat over time, though. Imagine the lower leading edges would take some road debris rash?
Go for it if you like 'em!

Im considering a set myself. I figure Im high in the front with the apes why not go low in the back with the fender and bags! Ill hafta wait until the Missus goes back to work and our budget recovers from her taking SIX MONTHS OFF! [:@]

Check out these other sites for streched fenders and saddlebags;

http://shop.arlenness.com/store/prod...roduct_ID+6808

https://www.klockwerkscycles.com/par...d=57&pg=Bagger

I much prefer the extensions finished without a visiable seam. Klock Werks will fiberglas them in if you send in your bags. They also offers a fender extension option along with fillers.

Just my $.02

I'm also looking into stretched bags. Klock Werks only does fiberglass bags...won't work with the ABS bags on my Street Glide they said. They also charge $550 to glass 'em. I think I'm going to go with Milwaukee Baggers and use my own covers. I contacted them and they said my covers and hardware will work. I might put some Chrome Steel Plate on the bottom...any thoughts?

De,

I hate to butt in, but I've just been checking up on some old threads. The Bad Dad Kit will work with your ABS bags, it's all in the gel coat. I just did a set last week...

Here's a cool video for you to check out too if you haven't been to our site. Video

OMG!!!

You Bad Dad guys have some amazing stuff. Thanks for the video and link. I'm a bit technically challenged, particularly with body work, so I will need to have this done by someone who really knows what they're doing. I wish you had a shop in So. Cal.

Nyt,

Thanks for the kind words!

If you're ever in the market for anything, don't be afraid to ask. We have a good mix of local and non-local customers so we're certainly not afraid to ship.

It seems like we are always adding another flag!

Again, thanks for the compliment.
