Default Klockwerks Reviews Please

I had a windvest shield on my bike before my accident and it was better than stock, but not great. What do you guys think of the klockwerks? How do u measure them, and what are the consequences with windshield bags? Do they work well? Input please.

I just switched out my Klock Werks 6-12" shield for a Long Ride 6" shiled on my '08 SG. I found the KW shield reduced buffeting by abour 50% over the stock shield. It also pressed against my fairing pouch and pushed it foreward about an inch. The LR shield reduces buffeting by about 70-80% over stock and my fairing pouch is not affected at all.

I just put a 10.5" light tint klockwerks shield on my 07 ultra and with only a few rides on it I am impressed with the reduction of buffeting I feel. Can't stop the wind but it is smoother for a lack of better description. Cleaner stream I guess due to the shape.
It does however push the 3 bag pouch back a little but no big deal, just a little tough to get it set right.

I have the 6.5" on my street glide and it's great. The air is a lot cleaner and I was able to turn down the stereo to less than 1/2 volume and hear it better.

I think it's overrated. I have the 6.5 on my bike, and the buffeting *is* better. But my vision is still blurred at 70+. I'm going to try a Long Ride next. A+ for styling though, that KW shield looks badass!

Don't know about the KW shields but the +2 Sweeper bars are killer.

It is better than stock but not a replacement for a long touring shield.

I just put a 6 inch LongRide Shield on my SG. I took it for a ride tonight, it is great at 70+ mph and it only cost $79.
