07 vs. 09 Road Glide???

Too each his owns butt........... you have already taken the loss and depreciation on a new bike. If it is meeting your needs...you would be crazy to trade for a new one and lose all of that depreciation again.
Calm down... enjoy your bike. Nothing is that much better that you need to take a $5-10K loss.

Spoken like a guy that hasn't ridden a 2009 touring model yet! When you ride both machines back to back you're very hard pressed to not see the big differences. The '09's are VASTLY improved. Believe it. It's only money and life is short. You need to be on the better bike!

To the OP,
Only you can know if trading up is worth it to you. I think the best advise you've gotten so far is to go rent one. That's what I did. I rented an 08 Ultra before buying my 09. I really liked the bike and was aiming to buy in the summer of 08 but some unexpected household expenses ate up my down payment nixed that. I picked up an 09 in February of this year and am really glad it worked out that way. The 09's really are noticeably better handling.
Having said that, if I had bought the 08 model, I wouldn't consider trading up this early. The difference isn't worth the financial hit for me but you might feel different with the 07 model.
Good luck with whatever you decide!
