Smile Hawg Wired vs. Arc Audio

Anybody using these systems? I'm installing an amp and speaker system on a street glide. Please tell me which one is best. What components are you using?

Do a search on these. I've got the Hawg Wired 150 amp and speakers and NOT cheap but, they flat out rock. Second HW setup in as many scooters. You WILL NOT be disappointed I can assure you of that.

Im using Arc Mini Amp 125.2 with Arc 6.5' Speakers and a Hogtunes Tweeter Pod. I'm still using the factory radio for now. Extremely loud and clear. Very satisfied.

I had the Hawg Wired 150 watt and never liked it. I still couldn't hear it at 70 mph. I gave it away when I traded bikes.

I now have the Biketronics 360 watt amp, with their 6 1/5" speakers and now I can hear it with power left over. Guaranteed for life too, I think.

Check out my thread about it here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...o-problem.html

I'm not happy with my hawg wired amp and speakers. Still distorts without that much volume used.

I was looking hard at the Hawgwired system. I liked the plug and play install. I just was having a really hard time justifying the price.

After a lot of research on this board. I went with Firecap's Arc setup with the rings and the 6.5" speakers. He had a group buy in July. The install is not hard, Firecap has great customer service and the system rocks. I find myself turning it down more than turning it up. It will hurt your ears if your not careful. I was playing a Blind Melon song yesterday and it was crystal clear at 80 mph at 1/2 volume. Best of all the entire setup was about 1/2 the cost of the Hawgwired kit.

Hawg Wired cost quite a bit more, that big biketronics is even more yet. I have the arc with the 6.5s, great bang for the buck. As for Firecap, just do a search. This guy is fantastic when it comes to customer service. Arc and Firecap both stand behind their products as well. For the money I do not think ya can do better anywhere!
