I've been reading and studying alot as I am about ready to get a new seat for my 09 Street GLide. Based on all the info I have gather from people (alot of different opinions) the majority leans toward either a Sundowner or a stock 09 road glide seat.
I still can't decide between the two. Whichever one I find at the best deal I will buy.

if you're over 6 feet tall like me, you'll likely hate it. my stock streetglide seat went back on it after a 200 mile ride. then i got a roadglide seat, and i'm ridin and a glidin now. absolutely the best factory seat harley makes in my opinion. not the 2010 ones, as they are a streetglide seat. and streetglide seats are great for short people. a nut crusher for the rest of us. they're sorta like the stock sg windshield, they both look great on the showroom floor, but once you get on the road, you end up saying, what the hell?

Hey everyone,
I have a Mustang Regal Touring seat on my ultra and I HATE it. I am having a Russell day long saddle built but it is likely over a month out. I sat on a Sundowner seat today that a buddy had and initial impressions are that it would be comfortable. I am leaving friday for a 1k mile trip to Springfield Ill and back. I am considering going out and getting one prior to the trip. Any advice/suggestions thanks...
