Question Any good routes through the Black Hills?

I'm going on a trip in a couple of weeks that will include Mt Rushmore on the way to Beartooth Hiway and Yellowstone. It looks like Sturgis and Deadwood would be fun to check out on the way. It also looks like there are some nice twisty roads around there as well. Anybody have any suggestions for a good route through that area?

Thanks,
Marc

Take the road off RT 90 into the badland, it ends up by WALL Drug. Go to Custer State Park and follow rt 16/385 North and South (Great Road). Be VERY carreful through Beartooth pass and Yellowstone. We were out there last month. BearTooth has construction that will force you to wait up to 20 minutes. The construction was a pain but the ride was still worth it. Also go to Needles Highway and Iron Mt. Road but look out for the Buffalo

The East entrance into Yellowstone was fine but the South entrance was all torn up for about 10 miles. Many bikes went down due to the gravel.

The 16 and 87 Needles Hwy, the 385 to Deadwood, the 14 through Spearfish Canyon, the 24 to Devils Tower to name a few.

+1. Just returned from Yellowstone/Beartooth a couple weeks ago, avoid the south entrance at all costs! Terrible construction delays and a challenge to keep the bike upright at times. Also, the north entrance at Cooke City has some construction, but not bad.
