do I have high or low pressure shocks?
I was reading another thread that got me thinking, I was told when I bought my used 07 egc last year it had been lowered . Then I started wondering if they put the sg shocks on it.The part no. on the shock is a sticker that says 54661-02a Showa. Does anybody know this shock part no. and is it a low or high pressure shock?

That pn# is the lowered shock absorber as stated above. The higher pressure shocks can be found beginning on the 09's. If you read the pressures in the owner manuals you will see that they hold more pressure than the earlier ones. Folks like WVUltra here on the board has put the 09 shocks on earlier bikes.
