Cool Harmon Kardon Display

As anybody had any issues with the display on their HK being hard to see, on my 07 RG it seems like a dark film has rubbed off the display of the stereo and is now very hard to read the display, everything works fine with it, but hard to see, any suggestions?
Thanks

You may need to adjust your contrast, when it is off the display is difficult to see.

Mine just started flickering and the light went out completely which is another issue for me to sort out.

Harley speced a UV coating on the outside of the lens. Under certain conditions (soaps, cleaners, etc) the UV coating can be damaged. Harley recomends Novus 2 to remove the coating. Novus is kind of a pain. Iron Cross Audio has a way to remove it completely.

Can't read mine at night no matter what the contrast adjustment. Think my eyes have alot to do with it.

Glad I could help zannydo - traded bikes with a friend and he accidentally did the same to mine.

Took me a bit to sort it out.
