I was told the same thing though if you originally order a primed piece they don't complain. I just ordered an 09 CVO RG front fender/support brackets and stretched bags for my 07 SG. Place the order 'primed' then have your dealer drop ship to Tomahawk paint facility to have painted your color choice or just take it primed to someone local to spray it. Its the only way I was able to order. Otherwise they want a VIN #

 

I like the idea of the new plasma rods from Custom Dynamics. May even be able to countersink them into the filler panel....hhhmmmmmm!

 

I saw the plasma rods on their website. They look pretty bright. I think you should try it and see how it works.

 

it's a crappy pic, but this was the first iteration..

I then swapped it out for the electro-pods ligts, which have 6 LED's instead of 4

I also added the plasma bars (as additional brake lights) and some obnoxious auxilliary turn signals that I mounted to the bottom of the bags

Which lights are under the bags? I have been looking at the Kuryakyn ones, but there has to be a cheaper solution.

btw...the electro-pods are under $50 and the load balancer was about $20

the 'chasing' signals were $52 ($6 each) and the plasma rods were around $80 each
