Corbin Overstock Sale

Corbin Overstock Sale
Corbin is having an "overstock" sale that has prices 50% or more off list price. I bought a Classic Solo for my '04 EG (that, for seat purposes, is the same as a pre-08 Street Glide, '04-'05 SE EG) for $199 plus shipping versus $429 list price.
Here's the link:

For Street Glides, they also have Hollywood solos for $199.
I'm not going to type all the stuff on sale; take a look and you may find a great deal.

Yeah, if you have an '08 or newer bike, there's no love for you at Corbin's overstock sale; at least none that I saw.
As for the rest, '07 and older bikes, if you know a little about fitment you may find a good deal. In my case, the seat I bought was listed for '04-'05 SE EG's and that's its product i.d. in Corbin's system. But the SE EG of those yearrs is really just and EG with the SG tank console (before there was an SG, of course.) The '06 and later CVO Electra Glides are all Ultras that use the Ultra's CB tank console. So, for my purposes, since I have the longer tank console that HD offers for the Electra Glide, I knew I could use that Classic Solo designed for the SE EG.
.
Same goes for the other '04-'05 SE EG Corbin available; the Hollywood Solo. If you have a pre-08 EG you can use it with the long chrome tank console that SG's have or that EG owners have added as I did or use the HD filler panel that HD sells to fill the gap between the end of the seat and the end of the shorter OEM tank console.
There are a few seat models listed for Electra Glides '97-'05. There isn't any difference for the '06 and '07 EG's that effects seat fitment, so I don't know why Corbin listed them that way. And since I'm not an RG owner, I can't say how they compare to EG seats, but my impression is that what fits and Electra Glide will fit a Road Glide.
It helps to have some knowledge of when HD changed things and what the changes are. You can check HD's seat fitment information in the catalog and trust it. So if you know a seat will fit '97--07 EG's or RG's, you can reliably count on the fact that a Corbin listed for '97-'05 will fit your '06 or '07 bike.
Besides, you can always call and ask before you buy.
But the '08 and newer bikes are out of luck on this one.
PS: If I had an Electra Glide with the short tank console or a Road Glide, I'd be all over the Corbin dual tourer with heat listed at $249.
