Vibration in fuel door is driving me crazy!
The lock mechanism in the fuel door vibrates and buzzes something crazy at about 2100-2200 RPM's. Sounds like a big 'ole bee buzzin or something. Have tried to put an o-ring inside the door but that doesn't help. Any other suggestion?

You might try a small amount of white grease or lube on it. That works for my tour-pak latches.

Push button latch is a great mod, don't have to fumble for the key.

and it comes with a new "Spring". Should keep it tighter. About $27 I think.

I have that one and it buzzes like hell. I pushed some high temp grease into the bottom of the bottom and that has worked so far....

Yep, mine buzzes like crazy at 2800 RPMs. I will give the high temp grease a try. Otherwise I'm putting the key lock one back on.

I have the push button that locks. No buzz. Have you tried bending the spring up a little? or tightening the button assembly?

All good suggestions and I've tried some of them. The buzzing is actually the center part of the lock, the part that would go into the middle of the key when the key is inserted. I can put my finger on it and it stops, release and there's the buzzing again. That would work I guess, except it's easier to operate a motorcycle with both hands.
