I've still got the sporty...I live in CT so can't ride the bike year round since the winter lasts kind of long and our two vehicles combind have over 380,000 miles on them. I need to sell one of my jet skis to speed up the process. All I can think of is buying my dream Ultra, but it is going to have to wait for a little while I think.

buy a house at 23 have it paid off by the time you are 43. All my friends that were smart and bought when they were under 25 are the ones who today are in the best shape to get the toys they want.

You are right. Now is a great time to purchase a house. There will be plenty of bikes in the future but you might never see home prices so cheap.

I would have liked to seen a poll on this, don't feel like reading the 16 pages of responses.

I say buy the house, the Sporty is a fine bike and I think you'll get more satisfaction from owning a house now than a motorcycle.

Congratulations on the house. Now get a decent used vehicle, then set a budget and a goal for a new Harley.

What the heck? You're 23, you just bought a house, and I'm telling you about a budget? Looks like I should be asking you for financial advice.
