Default SE Ceramic Heat Shields - more heat on the right side?

I just had Rush slip-ons, SERT and the SE ceramic shields put on my 2009 Road King. I'm feeling alot more heat coming out of the right side, along my lower legs and knee.

The heat shields don't seem to cover the hole pipe, just the outside. Is it possible that the extra heat I'm feeling is from lack of heat shield coverage?

If not, what else could explain this change in heat and what can I do?

Thanks,

Eric

You didn't mention your a/c set up. Sounds like you're running very lean. You need more air if you changes pipes and added the SERT, I hope you're not running the stock a/c.
