Test driving this weekend.
I have the itch for a bagger, REAL BAD ! So, I'm heading to do some testing this week end. Has anyone gone from a Road King to a fairing bike and regretted it ? Or have you gone from a Road King to a fairing bike and regretted not doing it sooner ? I'm a little torn between the Road Kings, and the Street/Road Glides. Just looking for some input.

This Road Glide is my first fairing bike. I could not be happier. I will probably never go back to a bike that does not have a fairing. I love the accessories available with the fairing. The extra storage, cruise, stereo, etc. I like the stability the fairing provides and the wind protection. Plus, to me, the Road Glide is the coolest looking Harley. But, I am in a minority with that view................

Went from a Streetglide to a Roadking. I just don't like the look of fairings. Put some amped speakers on my bars and am as happy as a clam. I do have a detachable fairing on order for the long trips. That way, got the best of both worlds. The only thing I miss is the ambient temp gauge. Baahaaaahaaa!

Best mod I did on my '10 SG was putting standard touring shocks on. My son's '09 SG's ride is just too
harsh for me...even when you pump the shocks all the up.
The SG does look sharp, with it's front and rear fenders, bullet signals,
but with the SG and the EG the same price, the choice is really.......
Tourpak or no-tourpack.
It gets pricey if you decide later down the road to put a tourpak on a SG.
