Default PVC and the heat management system

I posted a thread earlier about the heat management system on an early 08 SG. Now the dealer is telling me the PCV may cause the system not to work. Any thoughts on this? I was going to pull the PCV out of the system to try it, but a pain because of battery removal. See what you guys can tell me first. Thanks

Mine would cut out if I gave it any gas after EITMS was engaged. I asked FuelMoto and was told to richen the 0% throttle position at the 750-1250 (I think) positions by 3% and it hasn't cut out since. Mine is an 09. Only problem I have is I have to reactivate it everytime I start the bike.

I don't see any reason to use the heat management system because the bike runs so much cooler with the PCV. Just my 2 cents.

I live in las vegas, I dont know if I really need it either. But when it's 110 like it was today it might be worth while. Anyway even if it never kicks in I still want it to work. Just one of those **** things with me.

"09 SG here with a PCV installed......Had no ill effects on the heat manangement system at all and comes on when needed. ( Although it hasn't activated since I've added an oil cooler and the "cooling" map provided from Fule Moto.) :-)

It works fine on my Ultra. The only time in comes into play is if I am in town and a lot of stop and go traffic. And it does have to be a very high temp day. The PC-V cooled it down a lot!
