advice is this wrong for giving my 2 cents

I try never to read to much emotion from an email or message. It is just that. People type differently. I take them for what they are, typed messages not conversations with facial expression and emotions. Some peeps just type the way they do. I got a friend who still types in caps. It doesn't bother me as I know him, but most people when they see this freak out as this is not proper message protocol caps = shouting. He is just to lazy to keep hitting the shift key.
My wifeys all in to this proper email and message stuff and I think alot of people get caught up in trying to gauge what they person is feeling with their response. It is just a message...that is all, and some people just type the way they do. I could write a very curt message but if I put a (smiley face) by it that puts a happy emicon or emotion onto that message letting the person know I am smiling?
regardless, don't let this deter you from helping me and other. I don't
take care

Jday53,
Don't get too put off...
This is an open forum. Any ******** with a keyboard can come on here and fling dung at the other primates. They don't even have to own a Harley or have ever ridden anything of any make on two wheels.
And as already mentioned, every forum has a few tools who go around seagulling threads (fly in, **** all over everything, fly away). You can't let them bother you. They're simply defective units.
So long as you continue to offer your opinions respectfully, no need to get down over rude spewage. Its just part of life on any forum.
Hang in there.

The forum is alot better and more respectful than it was a year ago. However, there will always be some on any forum that want to be jerks. Hang in there. The thing that keeps me coming back is that amongst some terds, there are flowers and much knowledge to be gained.

There is a ad in the wtb sec. a guy looking for a fuel pak or a pc 3. I posted and said get a pc3 you will much more pleased with it well i guess i should not have said any thing because i got a kinda rude and snappy reply should I have kept my mouth shut or what o well. That just put an end to me trying to help out here any more. What do you think?
Then again that is just my "opinion"

Of course there are ways of dealing with those types...

Rude, cyber bullies are everywhere - fact of life. The last two I dealt with informed me
that synthetic oil manufacture's specs couldn't be believed - they were smarter. Facts,
quite often, won't alter opinion. Ignorance can be corrected - stupidity is a pre-existing
condition that lasts forever. IMHO.
