Default 2010 rkc

Chancellor,
I just bought a 2010 RKC on the 31st. Unfortunately I am also a RDC (Recruit Division commander) at Navy Basic Training and have been working nearly nonstop after buying it. I have only managed to log 46 miles but can say with all honesty...WOW!!!!!!!! I bought it in vivid black and can't hardly wait till i see the odomoter hit 500 miles so I can open her up a bit and see what kind of poewr she truely has.

I just ordered my 2010 Road King, in black but have a couple of month wait to get my azz on the seat. Although I am anxious to take delivery of it, I am looking at March. Winters suck in my part of the US, and it might as well wait til the weather breaks before I attempt to get it the 2hrs from the dealership to my garage..

Got mine about 7 weeks ago.

Have put 5500 miles on her so far.

Love every aspect of it, rides like a dream. Exhaust is too quiet, but as soon as the finances are in order, that will be taken care of.

Longest day on it so far has been 550 miles. For a stock seat, it is fairly comfortable, but an upgrade is in order.

First current model year vehicle I have ever bought.
First vehicle I have ever paid cash for.

Life is good.

Mine is an 09 but the only difference is the helical cut 5th gear and paint colors. They are awesome machines. Absolutely love everything about it. Of course Ive already made a lot of mods.

I bought a 2010 RKC in Mid August. I had a Deuce before. I put the SE 103 big bore kit, Vance & Hines Monster ovals, lowered it and put 2300 miles on it. With the big bore kit, it moves. I have to get it in for a final tune.

A bit of advice, replace the headpipe asap. I put the ovals on and should have done the whole works. It gets very hot. I am only 5-8" so the lowering kit was a must. I really do like the bike, but until I did the 103, it did not have the spunk that the Deuce did with a stage 1. It is scary quick for a bagger and I am getting used to floor boards. I have about $3k that I want to do to it this Winter and I am waiting for one dealer's 30% off sale.

PM me if you have any other questions.

Steve.

I love my '09. Put 'Heritage' bars on it and a taller windshield and a FuelMoto upgrade. Rides great, looks great, sounds great.
