Angry old mans bike??

Why does other bikers both harley or other riders call me "old man", "senior citizen" or other old person related names just because I ride a street glide?

Im 32 and does not see myself as being that old. I have been told that the bike with the batwing faring and the bike color (red hot sunglo) is pure old guy motorcycle.

Have I bought myself a senior citizen bike????? Have others heard the same about their street glide or other touring bike?

Well I would just consider the source and forget about it. The 'other' Harley riders probably are on sportsters and the riders that aren't on Harleys...well who cares.

generally I agree with you on who cares what other people think. But its my first harley and wondered if thats how people think of a batwing faring bike.

I love my SG and it rides really well. I even like the stock seat even though most dont :-)

Haven't heard that talk on my SG. If I did I wouldn't care.

Get with your buddies and go for a looooooong ride. After the FIRST 600 mile day, see how they are doing. After the SECOND 600 day ask how they are doing. There will be NO THIRD 600 mile day. Then let them ride your "old mans" bike. They will cry when you ask for it back.
