Im 32 and does not see myself as being that old. I have been told that the bike with the batwing faring and the bike color (red hot sunglo) is pure old guy motorcycle.

Have I bought myself a senior citizen bike????? Have others heard the same about their street glide or other touring bike?
LOL! I hear that too, here in Norway! They are jus jealouse :-) Where in Sweden are you from?

Jealously. Eventually they will start asking you to lock up their valuable in your hard bags when you stop somewhere. Ask me how I know.

Best thing about being 61 and RETIRED is, I really don't give a damn what people think of the bike I ride. Been riding touring Harleys for over 25 years. My signature says it all and some learn quicker than others.

I dont really care what others think, I love the SG its a sweet ride. Just wondered if it was the general opinion about touring bikes.

Guess its not the case :-) glad to hear that. Guess they just wish they have such a fine bike.

And to Johan96... I live in Malmö but I am danish and work in Denmark.

If guys are just yankin' your chain for fun, it really wouldn't matter what you ride -- they'd find something to rag on. Your post makes you sound like the guy people like to pick on to get a reaction. Trust me, if you rode a Hayabusa or Ducati, they'd give you grief to. Try not to be so concerned with the opinions of others. That guy you see on a 150 cc Vepsa has more self-respect...

Street Glide an old man's bike? No way. Everyone knows an old man's bike is either an Ultra, or any touring bike with "all" the luggage attached.
When I want to feel young, the tour pak stays on the rack in the garage. The shield comes off if I want to feel like a teenager.

Do you ride it slower than the speed limit in the "fast lane"? Maybe that's what they're getting at.

Screw 'em, they have no taste.
