Really wanted to run solo mustang seat, fender scratched
Decided I really like the look of the solo Mustang seat took off the stock seat tonight and under the stock seat my fender is all scratched up. Really bummed since the bike is brand new! There was no protective film on the top of the fender like I've read about. Should there be ? The scratched are about 2 inches behind the 2 bolt holes that would hold the solo seat on. Damn, I really liked the solo look too!

I was in the same (scratched) boat myself.
Go to: Mustang seats and scroll to their fender bibs. They have two styles. Either one will cover the middle portion of your fender where most of your scratches probably are.
I just received the plain style one I ordered last week. It's well made and does the trick. Even comes with a felt lining to help prevent further scratching.

P.S. Can't take the credit for this info. Someone else posted about it a few weeks ago.

Now knowing myself, I will obsess and lose sleep over this tonight! [:@]
A bib that will cover about 2.5-3" behind the mounting bolts will do the trick. How large is the mini bib?

Mini-bib just covers the seat bracket. Anything further and you'll need the full size bib which runs from the seat bracket to the mounting bolt for a 2 up seat like I did.

P.S. Sorry but I don't have a picture of it on the bike yet.
