Foliage tour offered in VT/NY/NH

Very generous offer and do I wish I could take you up on it.
Unfortunately I am a bean counter (aka CPA) and we have a September 15 corporation and partnership tax deadline and then an October 15 individual tax deadline.
However, I have rented a log cabin in the Asheville-Lake Lure, North Carolina area October 24-31 hoping to catch the colors as they move south of you.
Have a good and safe trip and please post pictures.

What would the southern-most part of the NY trip be? I live just outside NYC, and would be interested. I do a lot of great riding in the NW / lake region of NJ, and through Harriman State Park in NY - around Bear Mountain area. Also, since you seem so inclined, I would recommend starting a meetup group - www.meetup.com
I am getting ready to go on a tour of the blue ridge highway, deals gap, sunrise hwy, northern georgia, western smokey mountain state park for 7 days, and the organizer set up hotel shares for $35.00 / night.
Let me know! And thank you for your generosity...

Looks like there's going to be some riding around the Lake George area to start. There's one group coming up that far to stay. I'm sure the trip will go north from there since the Adirondack park swings mostly west and north from there. That's some awful pretty country during the fall (heading up towards Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, etc). Roads are wide open and usually 50+ mph.
