radio/cb help

Did you want to go with stock HD? When I bought my 09 I EGC I ordered the CB and it cost about 800 canadian. ouch. The cb is a plug in to the back of the radio. My left hand switches had to be changed for the ptt. [PUSH TO TALK] The tank consle was changed for the mic. And the second antna was added. It is a great radio .

Does anyone know of an aftermarket radio that would offer CB radio as well? I'm still kicking around the idea of a Detachable fairing, and wouldn't mind going with something that would afford me the ability to have CB as well.
I've seen the handlebar mounted versions, but was hoping for something integrated into the radio like the stock Ultra radio.

Contact Radio Sound and see if they can help you with a refurb or remanufactured unit that you will buy through an HD dealer since RS doesn't sell directly to the public. Expect to pay heavily for this option. And, of course, there is always Ebay for a used RS headunit with CB built in.
Good luck with your project.

harman kardon radio turn on back speakers & Fade
I have a 08 Electrica Glide Classic. So no back speakers or Ultra cable to plug in back of radio. I wanted set up an audio out for my wifes helmet speakers. So this is what I have done so far. I located the pin outs on the Ultra plung side in on the back of the radio. Pin 1 and 24 are left rear and Pin 2 and 25 are right rear. I installed an 1/8th in out jack and connected the wires accordingly. All is working fine except I have no audio control for the 1/8" jack output to the helmet speakers. I can put a cable volume control on the cord but I want to be able to control fade. Does anyone know how to turn on the fade control on the Harman Kardon radio. I have gone in to the program and test area buy holding down 2 soft keys and turning ignition to acc. Still can't find place to turn on the fader. If anyone else would like to install an audio jack output I would be happy to give more instruction.
